The Utah Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (UASFAA) was organized in 1968 and is a professional, non-profit entity consisting of institutions of higher education within the state of Utah. We represent public, private, and proprietary colleges and universities whose financial aid personnel are in the profession of managing and distributing financial aid to students pursuing post-secondary education. We also represent associate member organizations whose businesses provide higher education services and support to post-secondary students in Utah.
This site is designed to assist financial aid professionals in meeting the needs and demands of our business. Our goal is to supply the resources and information that enable our members to better serve their institutions and students in a highly skilled manner.

Jayson Matlock - MPA, FAAC ®
Deputy Chief Financial Aid Director, Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships @ SUU
Jayson is a passionate Financial Aid Administrator who has worked in the field for 12 years. As a first-generation college student, he focuses on building connections and channels for advocacy to elevate the student experience. He has had the opportunity to participate in various committees that emphasize the importance of fortifying EDI efforts, improving employee retention and morale, and creating unique opportunities for advocacy to thrive. These opportunities have come institutionally, and through participation in UASFAA, RMASFAA, and NASFAA at crucial times.
In his career he has found fulfillment in the ability to foster authentic connections that can create generational change in student lives, and to create space for staff and student voices to be heard.
